Visiting Minnesota Info

Resorts in Waterville are located primarily along the shoreline on both Lake Tetonka and Lake Sakatah. There are several boat ramps giving access to the lakes. Fishing is not the only activity to do on the water — you can also jet ski, water ski, and tube on the lakes. Most resorts rent boats to guests, including motor boats, pontoons, canoes, and paddle boats. The sandy shorelines are ideal for swimming, with piers for jumping into the water or fishing off. On shore, hiking around the various campgrounds is easy to do as there are several informal trails running through the wooded areas. Lots of resorts provide horseshoe pits and sand volleyball courts as well.

Fishing is good here with walleye, northern pike, bass, crappie, and sunfish being caught regularly. There are also numerous hunting preserves along with state land in the area that offer an opportunity to for you to hunt ducks, pheasants, squirrels, turkey, and whitetail deer.  Ask us about our preferred list of hunting and fishing guides.
